Valladolid, April 14th, 2010 - In only its third month since its debut, Cuatro Rayas Verdejo Viñedos Centenarios has found its way onto the best restaurant menus in Spain. This premium wine, born of the 75th Anniversary of the founding of Cuatro Rayas-Agrícola Castellana, has achieved its aim: to be an indispensable and unique offering on the best wine lists in the country.
Cuatro Rayas Verdejo Viñedos Centenarios can be found in acclaimed restaurants such as ARZAK Restaurant in San Sebastian (www.arzak.info), MARTIN BERASATEGUI in Guipuzcoa (www.martinberasategui.com), MUGARITZ in Guipuzcoa (www.mugaritz.com), and ZUBEROA JATETXEA Restaurant (www.zuberoa.com) in Oiartzun, among many others.
This premium wine, vinified entirely from the Verdejo grape variety, has been selected from our own vineyards with an average age of 80 years, some being over a century old. This wine presents a golden yellow color with greenish undertones. It is clean, powerful, and fresh on the nose, characteristic of this varietal. Fruity and herbal, it allows a hint of fennel to come through. Full-flavored, powerful yet well-balanced, this wine offers a silky texture and hints of white fruit and herbs.
