Sales of Veliterra in the off trade channel have increased 247% year-to-date
Valladolid, June 9, 2010. Veliterra, a 100% Verdejo wine with a modern format, a retail price near 2 E, and the distinct quality of wines from Agricola Castellana - Cuatro Rayas and D.O. Rueda, has drawn on these characteristics to become the most competitive and most popular wine in the food trade channel.
Year-to-date, sales of Veliterra have grown 247% and, according to the winery‘s sales department, "the projected sales for this year are 1,975,000 bottles in the Spanish food trade channel". This Verdejo was launched as a new alternative among quality wines, with a very competitive price to offset the effects of the economic situation facing consumers, and it has achieved its objective: "to be the best remedy for the crisis".
