The Consumers and Users Organization of Spain has selected four white wines as the best available in the market

Valladolid, October 28, 2010. - Veliterra is one of four white wines from Spain rated after a recent analysis by the Consumers and Users Organization, Spain‘s consumers‘ union.  This 100% Verdejo offering from the Cuatro Rayas-Agricola Castellana Winery was named a "best buy", an exclusive ranking endorsing those products which offer excellent value to consumers.

 

Veliterra is a wine with a modern format, a retail price near 2 euros, and the proven quality of the wines of Agricola Castellana, Cuatro Rayas, and the D.O. Rueda, characteristics which have allowed this wine to be highly competitive and become a consumer favorite.

 

Sales of Veliterra have grown 247% this year and the winery forecasts sales of 1,975,000 bottles in 2010.  This Verdejo is presented as a new alternative in quality wine, competitively priced to counteract the effects of the economic situation faced by today‘s consumers.  Veliterra wine has achieved its goal of becoming "the best remedy for the crisis."
