The panel at the Fifth Edition of the Castille and Leon Economics - Burgos Forum Awards has recognized the efforts made to promote the Cuatro Rayas brand.


Valladolid, November 3, 2011.- The Cuatro Rayas Winery was honored at the Fifth Edition of the Castille and Leon Economics - Burgos Forum in the category "Best Communications Strategy". The awards presentation was held at Valladolid‘s Exhibition Hall before more than 700 guests, mostly from the worlds of commerce, politics, and media.


The panel, comprised of representatives from the region‘s political, social, and commercial sectors, rewarded the Winery‘s strong commitment displayed since establishing its communications department early last year, whose work has resulted in a significant increase in the brand‘s awareness and a major presence in media outlets.


Among the most prized efforts were the fabulous Commemorative Gala organized in honor of the Winery‘s 75th Anniversary; the radical change in the Winery‘s corporate image; the updates to the Winery‘s web presence and online communications strategy; the launch of the Winery‘s first report on Corporate Social Responsibility; the reception by the Prince of Asturias at the Zarzuela Palace; and the Winery‘s commitment to sponsorship of Valladolid‘s handball team. In addition to the Cuatro Rayas Winery, other honorees included Jose Rolando Alvarez, Award of Honor; Seditex, Best Business Operations; Durex Plastics, Best Territorial Expansion; Gullon Cookies, Most Innovative Product; Entrepinares Cheesery, Best Human Resources Management; and the Spanish Language Foundation, Best Social Outreach.
