Cuatro Rayas Organic Verdejo and Cuatro Rayas Organic Tempranillo were awarded a Top Gold and Silver medals respectively in the latest edition of the international organic wine award, one of the most important contests in the organic agriculture industry. In this year, wineries and distributors out of 28 countries with 1086 wines have taken part. Cuatro Rayas Organic Verdejo
, produced with grapes from winery’s organic vine states and night mechanical harvest. It shows a straw yellow colour with greenish highlights, bright, fresh citrus fruit and balsamic aromas, very characteristic of this variety. Flavourful on the palate and very persistent. , produced with grapes from the winery’s organic vineyards. Thanks to the three-monthlong oak barrel ageing, we obtain a ruby red colour with medium depth, clean and bright and purple highlights, it shows a deep aroma reminiscent of ripe wild berries. Soft and velvety on the palate, perfect balance between tannins and acidity, round and long finish.About the International Organic Wine Award
Organised by the Wine System AG, the International Organic Wine Award is the only contest authorised by the European Union following the PAR-System, “an incorruptible tasting system that favours greater recognition of the wines, a precise evaluation of the organoleptic sensations and a verifiable rating”, according to the international juries.
