With this rating, nine brands of Cuatro Rayas get 90 points or more in the 2021 edition of the reference guide to Spanish wine

La Seca, 3 August 2020.- Bodega Cuatro Rayas adds a new recognition to our list of prizes thanks to the tasting scores announced by 2021 Peñín Guide regarding wines from DO Ribera del Duero.

Cuatro Rayas Vendimias Ribera del Duero 2018 vintage—red wine 100% made with grapes from over 40-year-old vineyards and 10-month barrel-aged—reaches 90 points in the last edition of the Guide, meaning that it was considered “excellent” by the wine-tasters of the renowned publication.

For this wine, the notes on the Guide highlight its aroma reminiscent of “toast, spices, black and red fruits, candied fruit and coffee” and its “flavourful mouthfeel”, as well as its beautiful dark “cherry colour”.
