This barrel-fermented Verdejo allows you to enjoy the greatest mixture of taste and smell sensations. The splendor of the verdejo varietal together with the wooden accents provided by 100% French Allier and American oak barrels characterize this very special Cuatro Rayas.
Fermented in Allier French oak barrels, the wine lees were overturned daily in the beginning and later on a weekly basis. It has remained in the barrel together with its lees for 8 months.
It is a wine of golden yellow colour with green glints. On the nose it is clean and big, with toasted aromas and ripen fruit with occasional hints of box tree. On the palate it is specially notable due to its structure, balance and smoothness. It is an almost creamy wine with a long aftertaste with hints of vanilla and balsam coming through.
